Informação Importante
Protopic® (Tacrolimo) está indicado no tratamento em curto prazo e como terapêutica intermitente em longo prazo, para pacientes com dermatite atópica. Protopic® (Tacrolimo) à 0,03% está aprovado para uso em crianças de 2 à 15 anos de idade e em adultos. Protopic® (Tacrolimo) à 0,1% tem seu uso aprovado para adultos. Protopic® (Tacrolimo) é recomendado para pacientes onde o uso da terapia convencional esteja ontra-indicado em virtude dos riscos potenciais ou para aqueles pacientes que não toleram ou que não respondem adequadamente ao uso das terapias alternativas ou convencionais.
Os efeitos adversos mais comuns associados com o uso de Protopic® (Tacrolimo) são: sensação de ardência cutânea, prurido, sintomas semelhantes à gripe e cefaléia. Está contra-indicado para pacientes com sensibilidade conhecida ao tacrolimo ou a qualquer outro componente da fórmula do Protopic® (Tacrolimo).
Protopic® (Tacrolimo) pomada não deve ser utilizado sob a forma de curativo oclusivo.
Infecções cutâneas devem ser tratadas antes de iniciar o Protopic® (Tacrolimo). Os pacientes devem minimizar ou evitar expor-se à luz solar seja esta natural ou artificial.
